DHNB 2026 Conference to be held in Aarhus

We are happy to announce that the 2026 edition of the Digital Humanities in the Nordic and Baltic Countries (DHNB) conference will be hosted by Aarhus University. The conference will be organised by Center for Humanities Computing and our CORE-Collective colleagues Center for Digital Textual Heritage, and will take place from 9 to 13 March 2026.
This will be the first time since 2019 - when the conference was held in Copenhagen - that DHNB returns to Denmark. Since then, the conference has expanded its geographical focus. Originally established as Digital Humanities in the Nordic Countries, the organisation changed its name in 2020 to Digital Humanities in the Nordic and Baltic Countries to reflect the growing collaboration across both Nordic and Baltic research communities.
DHNB is an annual conference that brings together researchers, developers, and institutions working with digital methods in the humanities. The conference serves as an important platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration across disciplines and national borders.
We are honoured to have been given the opportunity to host DHNB 2026 and look forward to welcoming colleagues from across the Nordic and Baltic regions to Aarhus.
