Last week we had the pleasure of sending Yuri Bizzoni to attend the 2024 DH Benelux Conference. 

Yuri, along with our colleague Kristoffer Nielbo and other talented researchers, is part of an emerging international consortium focused on exploring book reception as a digital practice. Their research deals with the ways large-scale online book reviewing transforms the practice and the reception of books.

At the conference, the group presented a joint abstract titled “Unsiloing and Unsilencing Online Reader Reviews - Mapping Reception of Fiction Novels Across Cultures and Languages”, that presents the group's approach to the role of online reader reviews in the digital age.
